2 year old doesn't listen to me, doesn't take me seriously. Climbs on table and drives me nuts, spills things on purpose and then cries when I don't let HER clean it up. I know she needs independence, but cleaning up an entire cup of milk isn't it. Cries at bed time. I get frustrated and annoyed every night because she thinks that I need to be right by her side to fall asleep when I have other things to do. I can't lay by her until she falls asleep. I mean, it would be different if I could watch TV or read while she fell asleep but she will lay there and talk, or get in the way so I can't read. I'll admit I let her sleep by me when I shouldn't have, but up until she was 18 mo she slept in crib and then started having night terrors?? Now she will purposely make herself puke to get out of bed. Dad is currently away for a few months so I'm by myself.
